The Sunburst Egg created by Theo Faberge in Mopane wood represents the sun bursting into sixty shimmering sunrays. The Egg delicately rests upon a fluted gilt column, is enriched with ornamentally turned patterned discs, portrays glistering sunrays and sunbursts. The Egg is surmounted with a small gilt finial. The hidden surprise within the column, a pen decorated with a cupola and cabochon amethyst. Produced in a limited edition of 250 pieces. This is number 176. Signed by Theo Faberge.
